Get a postal vote!

6th May 2021 Local Elections

It is very important that you have your say on how our County and Town are run in the upcoming 6th May local elections, but the Covid-19 pandemic will make some people wary to go out and exercise their right to vote. If this is you or you will struggle to find the time to go out and vote, please get a postal vote. It is a very easy and convenient way to ensure your democratic voice is heard.

Anyone can apply for a postal vote for the local elections. The deadline is 5pm on 20 April.

To apply for a postal vote you can:

  • download and print the form from the Electoral Commission website
  • Easy way – Use this link organised by the LibDems (it doesn’t mean you have to vote for them!) or scan the QR code link below with your phone camera, fill out your details and you’ll be emailed a pre-filled form. You just need to print and sign it.
